Interpack 2008 and sustainability

Interpack 2008 packaging exhibition, held in April 2008 in Düsseldorf, has demonstrated that the persons involved with the packaging are more and more concerned about environmental issues and that sustainable packaging materials are going to play an important role in their future decisions.

We thank all our clients and new contacts for visiting our stand. It has been a great pleasure to see the genuine interest in our products and the understanding of our concept and slogan the 3R - Reduce, Replace, Recycle. We are happy to be able provide you our products and services from our global sales network.

You as a decision maker have a chance to give your contribution to the environment. New production plant opened in Shanghai

China’s central government is proposing legislation to govern packaging, waste and the recycling industries. This legislation would be the toughest in the world and would particularly affect plastic and styrene materials, which could be banned. This news was published at the same time as Shanghai Eltete opened its new production plant. The company is ready to provide a solution by offering 100 % recyclable transport packaging materials in China and around the world.


ELTETE TPM LTD, GRAND OPENING OF THE NEW PRODUCTION PLANT IN SHANGHAI ON 8. JANUARY 2008
Eltete TPM Ltd, a producer of transport packaging materials, has opened a brand new factory in Shanghai, China. A new production plant of over 12.000 m2 will increase production up to 20,000 tonnes per year. Two other production plants are located in southern and northern parts of China.
 
Shanghai Eltete Technology Co. Ltd. produces 100% recyclable carton edgeboards, pallets, boxes and other transport packaging materials, mainly for the Chinese, Japanese and South-Korean markets. The main customers are Chinese export companies such as Nokia Siemens Networks, Canon and Pioneer.
 
The new proposed legislation demands that all packaging material must be recyclable. Such a law would ultimately affect the global packaging industry, meaning that in future there will be much greater demand for recyclable packaging materials, not only in China, but also in other parts of the world. This has come at just the right time for Eltete, as the company is now more prepared than ever to provide a solution for those who need to think about their future packaging requirements.
